Suzuki LTZ400

The Suzuki LTZ400 is a great all around quad. This is the machine that started the wave new liquid cooled, 4-stroke sport quads Many hours of research and development have gone into creating engine packages for all riders. We have developed engine kits for MX, XC, and high-speed Dune/Desert riding. Check out the details below on these power products for the Suzuki LTZ400.

Engine Packages

........ The LED Z400 is a dynamic engine package. Horsepower and torque are dramatically improved at all RPM. Dyno testing has shown as much as a 3 HP gain at 4000RPM, 14HP gain at 8000RPM, and 21HP gain at 9400RPM. Click HERE for Dyno Chart.
........ The cylinder head receives precision porting work, combustion chamber modifications, and valve seat cutting and blending. Each head is flow-bench tested to ensure head flow is substantially improved, resulting in much improved power output at mid and upper RPMs.
........ An X style forged high-compression CP piston adds to the acceleration to produce a healthy torque curve with much improved peak torque numbers. Throttle response, low RPM pulling power, and rev-out are greatly improved.
........ Each camshaft is chosen based upon the needs of each customer to produce a broad spread of power from low RPM all the way to the rev-limit. The camshaft package can be changed depending on the type of power delivery that you prefer.
........ Each head is re-assembled with the valves installed and the valve springs set to the exact seat pressure needed for the camshaft.

........ This Big-Bore kit takes the Z to a new level. Dyno testing has shown as much as a 3 HP gain at 4000RPM, 13HP gain at 7000RPM, and 26HP gain at 8600RPM. Click HERE for Dyno Chart.
........ We install a high-cooling sleeve and increase the bore to 95mm. We increase the compression ratio to 12:1 The Dyna Tech CDI box gives us another 1000 rpms of usable power. We strongly suggest the Dyna CDI box because the stock CDI box will kill the top end performance by drastically limiting the rpm and also use a 41 mm Kehien FCR carb to match the improved flow through the cylinder head. This kit turns the 400 into a machine that can compete with the 450s.
