A critical part of the Boring process on modern day 4-strokes is the use of Torque plates. If your machinist is not using them, beware. Our torque plates replicate the cylinder being re-assembled onto the bottom end to eliminate the distortion that makes the cylinder out-of-round as soon as it is torqued down.
